Today was a very busy day. We started out by venturing out to Cabo da Rosa, the westernmost point of Portugal's mainland, continental Europe and the Eurasian land mass- also known as the "End of the World." We then hopped on E-bikes and pedaled our way along a coastal bike trail that took us from Guincho to Cascais. We had lunch on our own and we choose a French cafe, called Paul, and then had the afternoon on our own in Cascais, which is home to the medieval Nossa Sephora da Luz Fort and the Citadel Palace. We then transferred to Sinatra where we also ventured on our own and could grab dinner but, we were still satisfied from lunch so, we went to a Starbucks got something cold to drink and sat and enjoyed the A/C. We then met up with the others and had an afterhours visit of the Pena Palace, a stunning Romanticist castle, standing atop a hill in the Sinatra Mountains, this 19th century palace can be seen from Lisbon and is one of the most popular attractions in Portugal.
