This morning, we had breakfast and hung out at the hotel until noon when are ride was scheduled. The majority of the others left earlier in the morning to catch transfers to the Faro-Algarve Airport. While a few stayed in the area for an extra day before heading home. We decided to stay an extra 3 days in Portugal in the town of Salema before going to Brussels, London, and taking a transatlantic cruise to New York city before heading home. Adventures by Disney hired a driver and car to take us to Salema, which was nice, so we didn't have to worry about booking are own transportation and it didn't cost us anything additional.

Doing Adventures by Disney was a nice way of seeing Portugal. From our time in Porto, Douro Valley, Lisbon, and the Algarve. Doing the trip on our own we would have needed to rent a vehicle, drive the vehicle, book the hotels, restaurants, and activities. Which would have been doable but, having it done for us was nice. Also, we would have never done the Porto Bridge climb, the kayaking, E-bike, or tile painting on our own.

This was our third Adventures by Disney. We have also done Italy (Rome, Florence, and Venice) and the Rhine River Cruise (Switzerland, France, Germany, and the Netherlands). All three of them were unique but, what they had in common was the attention to detail and the great guides.

Day 1 - Porto

The hotel offers a breakfast buffet in the morning in their restaurant, which is located off the reception area. After we ate, we located a coffee shop a few blocks away that had really good coffee.
